The Days Are Done For The Covered Wagon - By Ken Hulsey

Photographer: Ken Hulsey
Location: Orange Empire Railroad Museum (Perris, Ca)

The days when "E" and "F" units used to zip down the rails pulling priority passenger trains and freights are all but over. A few lasting stragglers still labor on for small branch lines and in excursion service. The days of hard work for this ex Union Pacific E-8 are done, now occupying rails in a museum for future generations to ponder over and dream of the days when it ruled the rails.
